Module 7: Build Your Digital Future Lesson 29 • Course Finale

Your 30-Day Digital Action Plan

This is the final lesson. The course ends today, but your digital journey does not. In this lesson you will build a personal 30-day plan that keeps your momentum going: practise, build, apply and improve, one small action at a time. Then you will complete your final project and celebrate how far you have come.

1What Is It?

A Simple Plan for the Next 30 Days

Open the final lesson with a look back, then introduce the 4 phases
Welcome to the final lesson. Take a moment to think about where you started. At the beginning of this course, many of you were not confident with digital tools or AI. Today you have a chosen skill, a portfolio, a CV, a professional profile and a plan for finding opportunities.

The question now is: what happens tomorrow? Your 30-day action plan answers that. It is a simple, day-by-day plan of small actions in 4 phases, one week each.
Week 1 ยท Days 1 to 7
Practice
Sharpen your main skill with small daily exercises.
Week 2 ยท Days 8 to 14
Build
Create new portfolio samples and update your CV.
Week 3 ยท Days 15 to 21
Apply
Search, connect and send tailored applications.
Week 4 ยท Days 22 to 30
Improve
Review results, get feedback and plan what is next.
2Why Do I Need It?

Momentum Is Easier to Keep Than to Restart

Explain why many learners stall after a course, and how small daily actions prevent it
Many people finish a course full of excitement. A week later, life gets busy. A month later, the skills start to fade. Not because they were not capable, but because they had no plan for what came next.

A 30-day plan protects your progress. You do not need to do something huge every day. You need to do something small, consistently: 30 to 60 minutes of focused practice, building or applying. Small actions add up much faster than occasional big efforts.

And remember, as we said throughout this course: no plan can promise a job, a client or a specific income. What a plan does is make sure you keep growing, keep showing up, and keep moving towards your next opportunity.

4 habits that keep you going
โฐ Same time daily
Block the same 30 to 60 minutes in Google Calendar every day.
๐Ÿค Accountability partner
Pair with a classmate. Share your progress every Friday.
โœ… Track it
Tick each day as you finish it. Seeing progress keeps you motivated.
๐Ÿ”„ Never miss twice
Missed a day? That is normal. Just do not miss two in a row.

What Each Week Looks Like

Walk through the purpose of each phase and the weekly review
Here is how the 4 weeks work in practice.

Week 1, Practice: short exercises in your main skill. If you chose customer service, you might write replies to new scenarios or build an FAQ. If you chose social media, you might study brands' pages and design posts.

Week 2, Build: turn practice into new portfolio pieces, then add them to your portfolio and CV.

Week 3, Apply: use your Lesson 25 plan. Search, check for scams, connect on LinkedIn and send tailored applications with your starter kit from Lesson 28.

Week 4, Improve: look at your results, ask for feedback, fix one weak area, and plan the next 30 days.

At the end of every week, you do a short review using these 4 questions.
  • 1. What did I complete this week?
  • 2. What was hardest, and why?
  • 3. What did I learn, or what feedback did I get?
  • 4. What is the one most important thing to focus on next week?
4Let's Do It

Generate Your Personal 30-Day Plan

Have every student generate their plan now, live
Choose your main skill from Lesson 26 and how much time you can realistically give each day. Click "Create my plan." You will get a day-by-day plan with a box to tick each day. Your plan and progress are saved on this device, so you can come back every day.
1. My main skill
2. Time I can give each day
5Now You Try

Complete Your Final Project

Walk through the final project components and how to submit
Before you start your 30-day plan, let us complete the course final project: Your First Digital Project. You chose a business, personal brand or fictional client earlier in the course and have been building pieces for it along the way. Now bring them together into one organised document, which is your portfolio from Lesson 24. Check that it includes every part below.
  • AI assistant: a set of useful AI prompts for your chosen business or person
  • Content: three social media posts (design and caption)
  • Content plan: a seven-day content calendar (Lesson 19)
  • Customer service: five response templates (Lesson 23)
  • Marketing: one simple marketing idea (Lesson 20)
  • Portfolio: all of the above combined into one organised document
๐ŸŽ“ Your certificate: once you submit or check off every part of the final project, you will receive your certificate of completion. It recognises that you completed the course and its project. It is not a professional licence or a guarantee of job readiness, but it is real evidence of what you have learned and built.

Lesson 29 Prompt Library

๐Ÿ“–
Add to your Prompt Library Google Doc Open your "My AI Prompt Library" document, add the heading "Lesson 29: 30-Day Action Plan," and paste all five prompts below. Your prompt library is now complete. Keep adding to it as you grow.

Action Plan Prompts

Prompt 1: Personalise my 30-day plan
"Here is my 30-day digital action plan: [paste plan]. About me: main skill [skill], supporting skill [skill], time per day [minutes], devices and tools I have [list], and my situation [for example: working full-time, student, parent]. Adjust the plan so every task is realistic for me. Keep the 4 phases: Practice, Build, Apply, Improve. Replace any task that does not fit with a better one, and keep each task under [minutes] minutes."
A plan you can actually follow is better than a perfect plan you abandon.
Prompt 2: Run my weekly review
"Act as a supportive coach. Here is my weekly review: what I completed [list], what was hardest [notes], what I learned or feedback I received [notes], and my numbers [samples built, applications sent, replies received]. Help me see what is working, gently point out one thing to change, and suggest my single most important focus for next week, with 3 specific actions."
Run this every Saturday. Small weekly adjustments make a big difference over 30 days.
Prompt 3: Create an AI prompt set for my final project
"Create 8 useful AI prompts for [business or person from my final project], a [type of business] that serves [audience]. Include prompts for: social media captions, a weekly content plan, replying to customer questions, writing a promotional offer, summarising customer feedback, writing a professional email, planning a busy week, and brainstorming new ideas. Each prompt should use Role, Task, Context and Format, with blanks in square brackets."
Test each prompt yourself and edit it so it works well before adding it to your project.
Prompt 4: Invite an accountability partner
"Write a friendly WhatsApp message inviting [name], a classmate from my digital skills course, to be my accountability partner for the next 30 days. Suggest a short check-in every Friday where we each share what we completed, what was hard, and our focus for next week. Keep it under 80 words, warm and encouraging."
People who share their goals with someone they trust often find it easier to stay consistent.
Prompt 5: Final review of my project
"Here is my final project for a beginner digital skills course: [paste or describe]. It should include: AI prompts for a chosen business, three social media posts, a seven-day content calendar, five customer service templates, one marketing idea, and everything combined in one organised document. Check whether each part is present and clear, point out anything missing or confusing, and suggest 3 improvements. Be encouraging but honest."
Fix the most important gaps first. Done and submitted beats perfect and unfinished.
